Bio
Brad Johnson will forever be remembered for leading the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to their first Super Bowl Championship. Brad also went to the Pro Bowl that season and won the NFL Quarterback Challenge that year, the first NFL Quarterback to ever accomplish that feat. Always one of the leagues most accurate passers, Brad is the only quarterback in NFL history to post ten consecutive seasons with a completion percentage of 60 percent or higher. Brad also finished that 2002 NFL season with the highest quarterback rating in the NFC. Throughout his career he has exhibited pinpoint accuracy, excellent velocity, and an outstanding touch. “Brad was really quite integral in our success this year,” Coach Jon Gruden said. “To be honest, I’m not sure we would have done as well as we did without him.”

Brad is used to a wide fan base. He has excelled in the Midwest (Minnesota Vikings), East (Washington Redskins), Southeast (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) and also internationally while playing for the London Monarchs. Fans in each market continue to follow the affable quarterback. “If you don’t like Brad Johnson, the problem is you,” Billick says. The media continues to thrive on his story of success. Immediately following the Super Bowl, Brad had a whirlwind media schedule that included appearances onGood Morning America, at Walt Disneyland’s Main Street Parade, and on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Additional national exposure has been garnered by Brad by appearing on the Wheaties box cover, in a “Got Milk” Mustache campaign, and in a “What’s next” Disney commercial (which also featured his wife Nikki and son Max.
Brad adds a legacy of charitable giving to his on field accomplishments. His charitable involvement includes Muscular Dystrophy Association, Children’s Miracle Network, Brad’s Buddies and Gillette Children’s Hospital. Brad hosts two golf outings that benefit the Eblen Foundation and the Ronald McDonald House. He is active in United Way’s Hometown Huddle and Toys for Tots. Brad and his wife Nikki are the proud parents of Max and Jake.
