Dominique Dawes spent years breaking barriers and breaking records in the sport of Gymnastics. After much dedication to the sport, Dominique retired to focus on her passion to encourage, educate and motivate others. Currently the Co-Chair of the President’s Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition, she works closely with First Lady Michelle Obama and the President’s Council to help promote the Let’s Move! Initiative, educating children on fitness and nutrition while motivating them to get moving.
From Broadway to Broadcast, Dominique has worked with media companies such as Yahoo! Sports, CBS, TNT, Comcast Sports and CSTV reporting on international gymnastic events and fitness reports and trends. Dominique is currently working with Fox Sports & MSN leading up to and through the 2012 Olympic Games on a health and fitness TV show.
Dominique is currently enrolled in the MBA program at George Washington’s Business School gaining an inside look at business management to further expand her future opportunities.
Dominique delivers powerful and inspiring messages of leadership, focus, teamwork, and health and wellness. She has the unique ability to empower audiences, from corporate executives and small business owners, to women’s groups, universities and youth organizations.
